Students of Nityananda Institute of Medical Science, Sergarh shall maintain discipline, dignity, honesty, and professionalism at all times within the college campus, affiliated hospitals, hostels, and community postings.
Respect towards Principal, faculty members, staff, patients, visitors, and fellow students is mandatory.
Carrying and displaying the College Identity Card inside the campus and clinical areas is compulsory.
A minimum of 75% attendance in theory classes and 100% attendance in clinical/practical postings is mandatory as per Indian Nursing Council (INC) and Odisha University of Health Sciences (OUHS) norms.
Students failing to meet attendance requirements shall not be permitted to appear in examinations.
Students must attend all theory classes, laboratory sessions, clinical postings, seminars, and internal assessments regularly and punctually.
Use of mobile phones, smart watches, or electronic gadgets during class, laboratory, or clinical duty is strictly prohibited, except when permitted for academic purposes.
Any form of cheating, impersonation, plagiarism, or examination malpractice will invite strict disciplinary action.
Nityananda Institute of Medical Science follows a zero-tolerance policy towards ragging.
Students must strictly follow hospital rules, patient safety guidelines, and confidentiality norms during clinical postings.
Courteous, compassionate, and ethical behavior towards patients and hospital staff is compulsory.
Photography, videography, or sharing patient information on social media is strictly prohibited.
Students must take proper care of college buildings, classrooms, laboratories, library books, equipment, and furniture. Any loss or damage to property shall be recovered from the concerned student.
Students may submit grievances to the Student Grievance Redressal Cell of the institution. All grievances shall be addressed in a fair, confidential, and time-bound manner.
